My first time...

OK I admit it, this is my first blog ever. Yep. Almost 38 and have never had a conversation with unknown readers that feels more like talking to myself than anything else! I typically have 892 things going through my head, so let’s hope at least a couple of them are interesting enough for me to blog about. To get this started, I thought I’d answer a few of the questions we feature on our 24/7 page...

My (immediate) family:  Mom, sister, brother-in-law, and niece who calls me Aunt YaYa.

My passion:  Usually, eating.  I find that I am happy when I am culinarily satisfied.

My favorite possession:  Well, besides my Prada shoes... probably my house.

My hometown:  Now Greenville, but I grew up in Spartanburg and lived in Winston-Salem for 9 years.

I can’t live without:  Dark Chocolate

I am most proud of:  My current goal to stay on budget.  We’ll see...

What keeps me awake at night:  The monsters of doubt and worry bumping around in my head.

One thing I never want to do again:  Be married to the wrong man.

If I could be totally wild, I would:  Sell everything I own and run away.

The nickname I wish I had:  Rose Bloom

My mother always said:  “Well, I tried to tell you...”
