Ann Coleman and Anna Featherston – dessert divas

After ordering a few batches of homemade cupcakes for her children’s school events from Ann Coleman’s home-based Cupcake Couture and Catering, Anna Featherston knew this was a service that could make even more women smile. When the two met, they realized they had a common goal — to make women’s lives easier. Soon, Anna’s concierge and lifestyle-management company, Ask Anna, will relocate the new Cupcake Couture and Catering to 115 Pelham Road, and offer baking services, catering, event-planning and more. “Baking makes me feel nostalgic. Growing up, it was nothing to bake a coconut cake, pralines, divinity or tea cakes after school with my mother and grandmother,” Ann says. “And there’s just something about all that yummy frosting!” Anna loves to make people happy, whether it’s cooking a gourmet meal or planning a wine tasting (she’s also a sommelier). “Ann bakes, and I cook,” she says. “It’s just a great synergy.”
