Biography

I am continually inspired by the story of Ophelia (Shakespeare’s character in Hamlet) but rather than heavy dresses, I envision her with wings. I liken her to a butterfly, once wrapped in a cocoon of dresses, she emerges forth with new vision & voice. I am no good at small talk but I enjoy exploring and exchanging ideas with others. My interests focus on expressing creativity via art, collecting (antiques, books, ideas), interior design & writing. I love to learn, to seek out an alternative perspective, to redefine the conventional, to create, to become. "I can't give you any advice but this: to go into yourself and see how deep the place is from which your life flows." (- Rainer Maria Rilke) I am married to my best friend & share in adventures traveling the country. He is the noon to my midnight. I am his honey land. Someday we'll see Italy, Nepal, Ireland, Japan,...to name a few; until then, we find happiness camping in a tent in the woods. Astrological Sign: Taurus. Zodiac Year: Sheep.
